WITH RENEWABLE RESOURCES FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

Founded in 2000, Cengiz Enerji is today one of Türkiye's largest power producers with a total installed capacity of 4,845 MW.

Aiming for energy supply security and sustainability, Cengiz Enerji helps Cengiz Holding's industrial plants generate their electricity. In this scope, Cengiz Enerji completed 4 solar farms that it had started building for Eti Alüminyum in 2019. Focusing on renewable energy investments over the last 10 years, Cengiz Enerji built Türkiye's first and Europe's largest hybrid power plant in Bingöl, consisting of hydroelectric and solar power plants.

Cengiz Enerji, which alone accounts for 5% of renewable energy-based electricity generation, is the largest private sector producer of hydroelectricity with 2,311 MW total installed capacity. Since 2017, the company has commissioned various solar power plants (SPPs) and started generating electricity from wind power plants (WPPs) in 2021.

Cengiz Enerji runs a thermal power plant in Karabiga and a natural gas cycle power plant in Samsun, along with two more natural gas cycle power plants in Tashkent and Sirdaryo, Uzbekistan, having a total installed capacity of 480 MW.

CK Enerji, Cenal Elektrik, Alpha Enerji, Cenergo, Samgaz, and Selçukgaz are Cengiz Enerji's subsidiaries operating in power generation, distribution, sales, and natural gas distribution. Generating power with the world's most efficient natural gas cycle power plant in Samsun and a thermal power plant in Karabiga, Cengiz Enerji also runs natural gas cycle power plants in Tashkent and Sirdaryo, Uzbekistan.
